Curriculum Vitae
Dmitry K. Labin, Doctor in Law, Professor of Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO), conducting law practice in protection and legal support of foreign investments in the Russian Federation and investments of Russian private companies abroad.
Expert in:
- international law,
- investments legal regulation,
- business merger and acquisitions.
Over the last 10 years he conducts researches and law practice in the legal regulation of international economic affairs, specializing in effective international legal protection measures of direct investments and motivation of transborder foreign capital movements.
In 1997 successfully graduated from international law faculty of Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The same year he entered the full-time attendance postgraduate education of the Institute for State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1996 passed the probation in Lisbon University (Lisbon, Portugal) and T.M.C. Asser Institute, Institute for International Public and Private Law, Commercial Arbitration and European law (Hague, the Netherlands), and Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vienna, Austria).
In January, 2000 he maintained a Ph.D thesis on: "International legal aspects of foreign investment regulations". In 2005 maintained doctorate thesis on: "International law and the global economic order" and got his Doctor in Law degree.
